February news summary

February News Summary
The bad news first: Sadly, we lost around 1 weeks time in the art section, because our artist drawing tablet stopped working(more precisely his pen, and its old so was not possible to find a replacement). We tried to find a new tablet as quick as possible, but still took around 7-8 days before Yamkha had a new one in his hands, and he were comfortable using it. Besides that lets move on!
Artwork:
-Hermione! After plenty of input from fans, and long discussions between me and Yamkha. We finally have finished Hermione, and are fully committed to this version - Go check her out on our discords preview channel.
- Dobby! Was created, including extra time spend on his features~
- Daphne! Was also created. Dobby is available publicly, Daphne for patreons, and she will soon be showcased publicly also. Go check them out soon on discord.
Coding:
- About section(website)! Was created as planned, great job to our coder Mike! There is another spoiler image for the game for those who have not yet seen it!
- Github repository have been created and our coder have created the structure for the game. YAY, so things are slowly under way.
General:
I have restructured the game to be extended to a two day system instead of one. Reason for this is, it will feel way better when playing and also to prepare for the next version. So even if this is "only" two days there will be plenty of action happening. First version will be packed with scenes and events.Another reason for this change, is to switch to a weekly system, so each update features a full week Mon-Sun. This seems like a great structure to me, so we can have school days, and ending with a weekend.
Planned for Marts:
- Snape, in progress! not finished(will be soon).
- I hope we can create another antagonist, our beloved Filch.
- We have a few things we could do in the art direction, which comes down to either: A background, a scene, or creating the main menu - We will see later where we end up!
- Git and Renpy, well a lot, everything to re-scaling artwork to 1080p, creating game systems and mechanics, starting to adjust dialogue to fit and so much more.
- Story, I need to do adjustments for day 1, so it will match the next day, since they are merged together with events. Besides that I also need to fully develop the whole plot for day 2, right now i have only written a quick 3-4 page overview of that day. So yes a lot of work is still missing on the story side for day 2.
